What you'll experience

Sarajevo to Mostar — the long way, with all the good stops.

Most Sarajevo–Mostar transfers take 2 hours and skip everything between.

We take 10 — and use those 8 extra hours for Konjic, Jablaničko Lake (the burek roadside is mandatory), Pocitelj fortress, two hours at Kravica Waterfall, and Blagaj Tekija before the Mostar drop-off.

Pickup in central Sarajevo at 8 AM. Air-conditioned van, max 15 guests, English-speaking driver-guide who actually grew up in this country. A sandwich for the road is included; lunch at the Kravica park restaurant is optional (mains around €10).

Round trip ends in Sarajevo at 8:30 PM, or one-way drops you at your Mostar hotel by 5:30 PM if you’re continuing to the coast.

Pocitelj — Ottoman hilltop village

60 minutes climbing the medieval fortress. Pomegranate juice from the village grandmothers in season (Sep–Oct).

Kravica Waterfall — 1.5 hours

Bosnia's largest waterfall — swim, photograph, sunbathe on the rocks. Park entry €10 paid on site. Mains around €10 at the on-site restaurant if you'd like lunch.

30 minutes at the 600-year-old dervish house at the Buna spring. Optional swim in the icy water below.

Eine wunderschöne Tour, die jeder unbedingt buchen sollte. Amir unser Guide war absolut fantastisch. Sehr aufmerksam, ist auf alle Wünsche eingegangen und hat bei den heissen Temperaturen auch gern einen kurzen Stopp gemacht, damit wir uns mit Getränken versorgen konnten. Er hat sehr viel erklärt und wurde auch durch Verzögerungen nicht ungeduldig :) ausserdem ist er ein sicherer und sehr guter Fahrer. Fragt ihn gerne ob er etwas für euch singen kann ;) die Temperaturen im Bus waren sehr angenehm, gute Klimaanlage :) Unsere Gruppe war super entspannt und wir haben bestens harmoniert miteinander. Es war trotz den sehr heissen Temperaturen, eine schöne Tour und absolut zu empfehlen. Alle die an der Organisation beteiligt waren, waren sehr nett und alles hat bestens geklappt, von der ersten Kommunikation bis zum Abladen vor dem Apartment. Is this a one-way transfer or round trip?

Either works — the price is the same. Round trip: pickup in Sarajevo, all stops, drop-off back at your Sarajevo hotel by 20:30. One-way: drop-off at your Mostar hotel by ~17:30 (perfect if you're staying in Mostar). Tell us at booking which option.

How long is the actual drive Sarajevo → Mostar?

Direct: 2.5 hours via the M-17. Our day trip stretches it to 10 hours by adding 5–6 stops along the way (Konjic, Jablanica, Pocitelj, Kravica, Blagaj, Mostar Old Town). Each stop is 30–90 minutes — never rushed.

What's the difference between this and the Kravica Tour from Sarajevo?

Same vehicle, same route, same guide — different drop-off. **Sarajevo to Mostar Day Trip**: end the day in Mostar (one-way option) or back in Sarajevo. **Kravica Waterfall Tour from Sarajevo**: always returns to Sarajevo. Pick whichever matches your itinerary.
