What you'll experience

Your group, your driver, your pace — Dalmatia to Bosnia in one private day.

A full Bosnia day from Split, run as a private tour — your group only, your own driver-guide, custom pace, no shared coach.

€590 / vehicle for 1–4 guests · €790 / vehicle for 5–8 guests. Same itinerary, same standards, same driver-guide; only the vehicle size and price changes with your group.

Pickup at 7:30 AM from your Split hotel or directly at Split Airport (SPU) — flight tracking included if you’re coming straight from arrival. The drive south through the Makarska Riviera is part of the experience: sea on one side, Biokovo mountains on the other. Two borders handled by the driver.

By 11 AM you’re at Kravica Waterfall (2 hours of swim time in summer, longer if you want — that’s the private-tour benefit). Lunch at the Kravica park restaurant or Pocitelj village. Pocitelj fortress climb. Blagaj Tekija dervish house at the Buna spring. 1.5 hours at Mostar’s Stari Most for the bridge, the bazaar, the divers if conditions allow.

Drop-off at your Split hotel around 8:30 PM — or drop you off in Mostar at no extra cost if you’re staying overnight. Per-person math: solo €590, couple €295 each, family of 4 €148 each, group of 8 €99 each.

FAQ

Frequently asked

Do I need a passport?

Yes — passport mandatory (not just an ID card, even for EU citizens). We cross 2 borders: Croatia → BiH at Neum, BiH → Croatia on return. Each crossing 10–15 min. EU passports get stamps. US/UK/AU/CA visa-free for 90 days.

How long is the actual drive Split → Mostar?

Direct: 3 hours each way via the Makarska Riviera and Neum corridor. Our day trip stretches it to 12 hours by adding 5 stops. Each stop 30–90 minutes — never rushed. We avoid the Pelješac bridge route which adds 30 min.

Is this a round trip or one-way?

Either — same price. **Round trip**: pickup in Split, all stops, drop-off back in Split by 20:30. **One-way**: drop-off at your Mostar hotel by ~17:00 (perfect if you're staying in Mostar). Tell us at booking which option.

Can I be picked up from Split airport?

Yes — Split Airport (SPU) pickup is free, with flight tracking included. You can do this tour straight from arrival if your flight lands before 8:30 AM. Otherwise we recommend the next day after a night's rest in Split.

Can we swim at Kravica?

Yes — June–September is best (water 16–18 °C). Bring swimsuit, towel, water shoes (rocks are slippery). Bathing facilities and changing cabins on site. Off-season swimming is for the brave (water can be 8–10 °C).

Is the tour suitable for kids?

Yes — kids 5+ enjoy the swim and the fortress. Free for under 5, half-price 5–12. Booster seats and child seats available on 48-hour request. Long day for very young — under 4 might struggle.

What's the best time to do this trip?

May–October. June–September for swimming. April–May for the strongest waterfall flow. September–October for fewer crowds and autumn colours. Avoid Friday afternoons (border queue) and very rainy weeks.

What should I bring?

Passport (mandatory), swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, hat, comfortable walking shoes, water-resistant phone case, and €30–50 cash in EUR for fees + lunch + souvenirs. Day backpack ideal.

How does the per-vehicle pricing work?

**€590 for 1–4 guests** (sedan or 8-seater minivan), **€790 for 5–8 guests** (minivan). Same vehicle, same driver-guide, same itinerary — only the vehicle size and price changes with group size. **Per-person math**: solo €590, couple €295/each, family of 4 €148/each, group of 6 €132/each, group of 8 €99/each. **For groups of 9+** we use a Sprinter — quote on request. **No hidden fees** — only Kravica entry €10/pp + lunch + tips are not included.

Can we customise the itinerary?

**Yes — that's the point of the private format.** Common swaps: skip Pocitelj for **Stolac UNESCO stećci**, extend Kravica for swim time, swap Blagaj for **Daorson Illyrian ruins**, add **Medjugorje** for a Catholic visit, add a **Makarska seafood lunch** on the way back. **Multi-day extensions**: continue from Mostar → Sarajevo or → Dubrovnik.
